What happens between a quote and launch?
Verify affordability when applicable
Compare Rate of Pay, W-2 and Federal Poverty Level methods using the required payroll and on-exchange benchmark inputs. An off-exchange plan quote alone does not establish ACA affordability.
Complete documents and funding
Complete the service agreement, payment confirmation, required documents and signatures. ECHO payments require separate onboarding and bank verification; they are not activated by running a quote.
Help employees enroll
Confirm notices and timing, collect actual employee elections, and coordinate enrollment support. Coverage is effective only after carrier requirements are met.
Budget for actual participation. Quoted costs assume the modeled households participate. Reimbursements depend on eligible expenses and plan terms; fees follow the service agreement and may use eligible or enrolled counts. Optional benefits such as Kerix need separate participation and billing confirmation.
Guided launch · Payment confirmation, legal documents and ECHO onboarding require agency setup and verification. Running a quote does not activate coverage or authorize a payment.
