Who provides insurance assistance?
Insurance services are provided through The ICHRA Shop Insurance Agency (Golden Bee Advisors, LLC), Agency NPN 19498452. Brad O’Neill, NPN 6650230, is the agency contact. An appropriately licensed producer must handle advice and enrollment in your state; Marketplace work also requires applicable registration and training. Our websites are private services, not HealthCare.gov or a government agency. CMS plan data does not constitute government endorsement.
Review or revoke broker permission · Compensation disclosure
Permission comes before assistance.
Review the actual application, required attestations and plan selection with your producer before submission.
Complete the carrier’s process and any required premium payment. A saved quote or request does not activate coverage.
Employer intake, a broker-of-record letter, website registration and permission to receive a call do not replace an individual consumer’s enrollment consent. A representative must have authority to act for the consumer. We do not make coverage changes based only on a shopping request.
Enrollment privacy notice
We collect only information needed for your requested service, such as contact information, location, household rating details, coverage dates and plan selections. Providing information is voluntary; without necessary details we may be unable to quote or assist. You can apply directly with a carrier or the appropriate exchange.
We use it to provide authorized coverage assistance and maintain required records. Necessary information may go to your selected insurer, enrollment provider, authorized agency personnel, or the relevant Marketplace. For a federal Marketplace application, information is submitted to CMS and maintained in a federal system of records; state exchanges have their own notices. Our off-Exchange CMS Finder search sends required rating inputs to CMS, without names or SSNs. Carrier and enrollment-provider privacy notices also apply when you use their services.
Broker permission does not authorize unrelated advertising, clinical-data analysis, premium debits, or unrestricted sharing. We do not sell enrollment information for unrelated advertising. Contact brad@ichra.shop or 303-903-2054 to request access, corrections, a narrower permission or revocation. Do not include sensitive information in ordinary email.
HIPAA depends on the service and the data.
HIPAA applies to covered entities and qualifying business associates. A website privacy notice or broker-consent checkbox is not a HIPAA authorization or a business associate agreement (BAA). When our service creates a business associate relationship, an appropriate BAA and safeguards must be in place before protected health information is exchanged. The applicable health plan or carrier provides its Notice of Privacy Practices and information about HIPAA rights.
Do not enter diagnoses, prescriptions, medical records, claims, Social Security numbers, bank details or Marketplace passwords into JANET, ordinary website forms, or email. For a service that needs sensitive information, contact us for an authorized transfer process and confirmation of the required agreements first. Use carrier or approved enrollment channels for application identity and payment details.
Ordinary employer intake is for authorized census and benefit documents only. Employer permission to submit a case does not itself authorize each employee’s personal enrollment or disclosure of clinical records.
Quotes, tax credits and coverage
Off-Exchange coverage does not qualify for Marketplace premium tax credits. An ICHRA offer affects eligibility for those credits: accepting the ICHRA prevents claiming the credit; an affordable offer can prevent eligibility even if declined. Marketplace eligibility must be assessed using the actual offer and household circumstances. Do not omit an employer offer from an application.
Rates, benefits, networks, eligibility, enrollment windows and effective dates must be verified with the carrier or exchange. Our plan listings may not include every available product. Third-party enrollment is completed through its own authorized process; its consent and application review requirements still apply.
Records, privacy questions and accessible help
Our broker-consent records include the signed language/version, consumer and signer, agency, scope, signature time and expiration. Consent and consumer application-review evidence for federal Marketplace assistance must be retained for at least 10 years and produced to CMS when requested. Revocation stops future authorized assistance; it does not cancel coverage or erase records required by law. Required records remain restricted to authorized staff.
Call 303-903-2054 or email brad@ichra.shop for privacy concerns, corrections, suspected misuse, a paper consent option, accessibility help or language assistance arrangements. For HIPAA complaints, see HHS Office for Civil Rights. Raising a concern will not change your eligibility for coverage.
