SIX LEVERS. ONE EMPLOYER.

Change the strategy. Measure the whole effect.

Medical & pharmacy. Workers’ compensation. Voluntary benefits. Population health. Absence & productivity. Compliance & administration.

These six levers guide the questions and actions. The four TCOR components below organize the dollars. A single expense belongs in one cost line—even when it relates to several levers.

YOUR NUMBERS. A CLEARER DECISION.

Keep the comparison accurate

Choose a consistent cash-paid or incurred/expected basis for both scenarios. Do not add insured claims already funded by premiums. For ICHRA, enter employer contributions or expected reimbursements once—not also employee policy premiums. Do not treat employee-paid premiums or employee out-of-pocket spending as employer costs.

Enter broker fees, TPA charges and taxes separately only when excluded from other lines. Measure indirect losses from documented assumptions. Consulting and prevention costs remain costs; enter a proposed reduction only where supported, rather than subtracting a claimed service value from expenses. Review carrier refunds, recoveries and credits consistently before entering net amounts.
